The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) regulates the audit profession in Nepal. Auditing Standards Board (AuSB) has prepared the NSA in line with the ISA which is issued by ICAN for compliance by the auditors in Nepal. Out of the total auditing standards issued by IFAC, ICAN so far has issued standards for compliance by its members, Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors.
